Communicant is the cost-free application that helps anyone who is having trouble communicating, whether it is because of a separation, divorce, or if they are unable to be on speaking terms. Communicant was built as a 3 week final project by a 4 person team (2 of them from the Front End class) in a Rails environment using jQuery, AngularJS, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3 and much more.
Stattracker is an application to help you keep your daily activities on track. Do you remember if you drank your 8 cups of water yesterday? Did you walk your dog 3 times on Monday? Stattracker helps you to remember these details without losing your mind. This was a 3 days collaborative effort by a 4 person team from TIY-Durham Python and Front-End Engineering classes. We used AngularJS, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5 and CSS3.
Replicate the famous Catalan opening in chess offering a good explanation of the MVC.
This chessboard project during my time at The Iron Yard was an excellent opportunity to explore model, view and controllers usage.
We started with the internal representation of the model in Javascript, giving all the data for the moves.
including going forward, backward, the finalization of the moves and restart. In the view, we can see the output representation of all the nine moves.
This project was a one night homework assignment at The Iron Yard.
We used the Tympanus Blueprints examples to
build a responsive page and learn about CSS3, Sass and HTML5.
This is a very good example of how to make good grids.
I have good memories building this project, it was fun!
